Hair “Oh No, She Did-n’t!” of the Day – Britney Spears

celebrity hair cut

Clip in hair extensions and weaves alike can look fantastic – if you care for them properly. They should look natural and blend in with your own hair because the whole point is for no one to notice that you’re wearing them. Britney Spears clearly did not get the memo.

For those of you who didn’t see this picture of Britney Spears over the summer, viewer discretion is strongly advised. You may want to ask any hairstylists, ardent Britney fans or small children to leave the room:

Did you ever get a Chia Pet as a child and forget to water it for a few weeks? Well, if you haven’t, this is exactly what it would look like. One can only speculate that not only did Britney not notice that her hair extensions were flapping around in the wind — she didn’t seem to care.

Real hair extensions put in by a celebrity hair stylist are not cheap, and believe or not Britney is still one of the richest women in the world. It’s hard to understand why she decided to go out in public without brushing her hair.

Word on the street now is that she’s planning on starting her own line of hair extensions, no word on whether they will be real hair extensions (or remotely decent either). While the amount of humor exhausted in this effort is appreciated, it’s kind of the equivalent of Michael Vick coming out with a line of doggie toys — the consumer to product trust level just isn’t there.

Don’t agree? Want to stick up for Britney Spears and her real hair extensions? Leave a comment.
